Anyone who has put in the mesh grill have an SVT grill they would like to sell? I know alot of guys put the mesh over the plastic grill but some have removed them altogether. I'd be willing to pay something for it...

the part # is 455-99-1
be sure to tell them you need the chrome trimmed grill with the mesh insert

That number is for a company Sherman parts. I tried to buy it and they said yeah they have it in stock. But when I received it, it was a wrong grill. I called them and they said the they received wrong grills and it will be 6 weeks before the get the right onse in. If you going to order make sure you call them and tell them how the grill looks like, cause they might say they have it in stock but its a different grill marked as SVT.

contour98, is the grille just not the SVT grille or is it something that won't fit the contours at all? If it's one that fits, we might be able to get them cheap! I'd need some to do for the locals who want me to make them grilles like mine anyhow.
If you're going to remove the plastic from the grille to put in mesh, I think it's easier to use the regular tour grille anyway.

No the grill is not an SVT at all, what I got was a 95 Mistique grill. But as I said call them may be they got it all straightend out now.
