I was wondering about some USA and Europe site for side markers? As how to install in the car and wiring diagrams? I am looking for some nice classy lights to put on on the car. I am hoping to do some easy wiring with out screwing up the factory wires if possable.

www.autodynamic.com www.dcmotorsports.com www.autotoys.com

To name a few.

Check the Mods FAQ under aesthetic for installation info. It's not too hard though you may have to do a little drilling.

Has anyone found a sidemarker unit that does
NOT require drilling of the fender? I really
have no desire to break the seal on my paint,
and I am find with using a dremel or whatever
to file down the sidemarker itself...

I'm interested in the mod but not in taking a
drill bit to the side of my car.

I had to enlarge my hole by less then 1mm and I used some kind of water proof epoxy (can't really remember the name) to attach the sidemarker to the fender. It's been more then a year and everything seems to be fine.

It seems www.spmotorsports.com has vanished,
so I don't know where to go now. Has anyone
tried installing the OEM Ford Mondeo markers?

I've seen clear and smoked covers for these,
perhaps if they fit without drilling we could
just replace the amber Mondeo cover with the
clear or smoked aftermarket one.

The A4 side markers look really small, and
very dremel-able... anyone here with them?

I'm talking about the older ones that look
like little squares.

There's enough plastic on the A6 sidemarkers to file down to where you don't have to enlarge the fender hole. I didn't have a dremel handy and since I didn't want to damage the reflector, I chose to enlarge the fender hole instead.
