I recently purchased SLK side markers from my local MB dealership ($4.00 ea.) I custom made a new backer plate for them and picked up some universal lamp holders at my local Advance Auto Parts store. To say the least, after a few modifications these turned out beautiful. And hey...True Euro roots. I will be making a mold for the new lamp back and casting them from high endurance resin. If anyone is interrested in this idea feel free to let me know. I will post pictures as soon as I get a spare second.

Hey Journey, Thanks for posting those pics so I don't have to. I still have a problem posting. Oh well. How did you mount your side markers? That large belly on the back of the assembly caused me to have to make a few alterations.

I had to enlargen the hole in the fenders and trim up the light housing too.
