Besides the relay installation from the FAQ as someone else mentioned (and that is the best way to do it if you have the correct wiring in the car) you can also buy a DRL conversion kit through a dealership (or Bill Jenkins). It is listed as an accessory in the parts catalog. It is not nearly as nice as just installing the relay is your car is properly wired.

I can tell you how to wire up the corner lights as DRLs if you'd like.

That sounds like a sensible idea.
Volvos have drl's and they use dual filament
globes for the park lights, in the daytime when the lights are switched off the brake light intensity filaments are lit as drl's.
When the lights are switched onn at dusk, the
normal tailight intensity filaments are used.

SAABs use this system too, at least in europe. Here in the US the park lamps high side filament is used as a cornering lamp in conjunction with the turn signals.

Is it that much work to actually turn your headlight switch? If you want headlight on during the day, simply turn them on.

(Edit) Then again, "I turn my headlights on during daylight hours" just wouldn't look too cool as a mod. in your signature, would it? (Edit off) :p
