I am looking for a "trick" battery box. Very race/industrial/aluminium...cool. I know about the plastic "marine" type from Morroso and the aluminium box in the Summit Racing catalog, but I want something more. I want to put a sealed battery in it plus a Kill Switch mounted on the outside. Anyone have any other source I can take a look at?

is it law to have a batery box??? Car audio systems that have batteries in the back don't really have boxes....just enclosures to look good.

If i had the $$$ i would custom build a side enclosure with a plexiglass front and get this:

1995 V6 SE MTX
1998.5 CSVT
1963 Riley Elf/Saab 2.0L Turbo swap

I guess that meets the "trick" criteria alright! Funny hey... I was looking for something a bit more race industrial and less artistic. I know that for SCCA and NHRA, you have to have an enclosure. Thanks anyway.

Try Taylor (p/n 48101) about $124.00 from most speed shops - ramchargers/summit/etc. Solid aluminum box w/ wiring harness. There is a cheaper version w/o the harness. It's large enough to have the battery and some ancillary gear and swithes/fuses mounted inside...........

To Travis,
Thats not fair, you know how much hair I have left! Hey, I have the brakes on order and as soon as they come in I will send you some information on them as a fyi. How are you doing anyway? Email me personally so that the hair thing won't go worldwide, you know I have an image to keep up. HaHa...
Take care buddy,
Guy

I recommend the box from spmotorsports. I happen to see it last week and was highly impressed.
