Where can I get clear front lenses replacement for a 95? I don't want those add-on POS, I want to replace the stock lense cover. Thanks!

I have no answer for you but I want to add to this by saying that I would really really want a set of these if someone could find a way to make them or if someone has built them already.

for what the corners??

no after market makes lights for the 'tour.

they do for the mondeo but the lights are slightly different.

They do have clear corners in england (i think they are stock) and i can't see the lights being nuch different but don't hold me to that. So getting someone to scour the european junkyards might be the best bet.

Yes i want clear headlights to, its not fair , but yeah there really isnt much 95-97 can get though, i had the bluish tint lights in and they didnt seem to make a diference, just a tad white, not much. Anyone with a 97 with black outs on either the back or the front?

I was looking for lense cover replacement that is clear, not having all those lines on the cover... I want it so the lights actually shines brighter...

Ooop, that's not going to work.

If all you did was to replace the covers with clear ones, your lighting would get worse. Not to mention being illegal.

The "lines" on the headlight cover are there to control the beam pattern. If they were clear, the reflector would have to be shaped to control the beam pattern. Take a look at the headlights on a '98, you'll see the reflector is shaped to do this, that's what gives it the "jeweled" look.

If you could get a set of E-code headlights like the ones pictured in the post above from a country with left-hand drive cars, that might be the ticket. But it would be expe$ive, I'm sure.

A better bet is to use some of the tricks other Contour owners have used, such as higher wattage headlamp bulbs or using high beam bulbs in the low beam sockets (you have to modify the base of the bulb to get it to fit).

I concur, simply removing the lens would do no good. It would be like driving with a pencil (spot) beam, no light to the left or right. I'm guessing that your headlamps are clouded and yellow. Your best bet would be to try to clean the lenses or get a new set of headlamps and make sure you get a set of bulbs that are UV blocking. (Philips Premiums are UV blocking and are 30% brighter than stock)
