Programming instructions from Ford: Turn the ignition to RUN or ACC. Momentarily jump the pins in programming connector located behind the glove box (usually a grey connector with two pins exposed, jump with paper clip or screwdriver). The horn will chirp to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter. The horn will chirp to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition OFF. The horn will chirp one last time to indicate end of programming mode. As for buying the fobs, try eBay. I always see a couple up for sale. ------------------ Louis Wang Sugar Land, TX 1998 Black E0 #3826 http://web.wtez.net/tw57472 [This message has been edited by louisw (edited October 15, 2000).]

Thanks Louis. I saw a few in ebay last night. Just wanted to cut the time down a bit. Will decide if I want to register; my son sells and buys there, but I'm not registered.

Hello Louis, I have a '98 SE and I cannot find that harness which has the programming connector. Do I have to take the glovebox out or should I be able to see it by jut removing the insulation underneath the passenger side dash? Going crazy, any help would be appreciated.
