Hey people, I got bored today and decided to balck out my B pillars, just like the Mondeo has. The effect would be greater with tinted windows.




Whaddya think?

I think it looks good, but I'd be worried about it coming off. Back in my high school days I had a Tempo and those were black and the wind and rain and such took all the paint off and they looked like crap.

With darker tint it would look real nice.

They are made from vinyl. Just like ones on my headlights and visor. Those have been on there for over 2 years. No they won't come off. You can even hit them point blank with a pressure sprayer.

I aint mad at you thought!!!!

A clogged cat blew one motor and another head gasket. I gutted the cat and installed another gasket and there it sits. I haven't had the time or willpower to put new gas in it and replace the battery I changed the AC over to r134 a few years ago and it has pretty new tires. Cool thing though, when I got the replacement engine, it was the Japanese spec 100hp instead of the US spec 74hp. BIG change in the pulling!!

I will part with it for $1400, I will make sure it runs, too.

Chris, how difficult was that to do? Did you just use regular tint? Where did you buy it?

I am glad to see I am not the only one who thinks that would look good! I knew I was right, it does look good! What did you use? If I was going to do it, I was thinking of going to a bodyshop and having them strip and repaint that area in black. That body colored area really beaks up the flow of the car IMO. Maybe I will mess around with photoshop this weekend and paint myne! I'll let ya know!

I used some shiny black metallic vinyl. After looking at it some more, I want to use some flat black vinyl. I just used it because that's what I had left over from some stuff I did for a friend. I should be able to use the same template once I get some flat black stuff. I have a whole lot of stuff on my plate right now so it might be a while.
