Hey CEG'ers i wanted to know if anyone has heard about clear lenses for our 'tours (as mentioned in another post about the Lexus is300). if not we should ask KKM to make one. i am sure 90% of us would order in a heart beat (i know i would). Also has any heard about the rumour of "white" or "glowing" Ford emblems? Feedback guys and gals feedback.

You can get those glowing emblems from JC Whitney I've seen them in the catalog.

I'd pay some big bucks for a retrofit kit that would convert the 'tour to a dual bulb taillight, with red and amber lenses. I haven't actually looked at it, but we've just got a single bulb for each corner (turn signal light and brake/running light is the same), correct? Anyways, I've always had a thing for amber turn signals....

The taillights I'm making where inspired by the smaller Lexus SUV. It will be having a seperate amber blinker. Give me a few weeks. If you are going to the national meet I should be there with them.

Give me a little while and I can show you what they look like with Photoshop.

I totally agree on amber turn signals. To me this is a safety factor and not just an aesthetic mod. With the amber signal, you can see at a glance when someone is braking and turning, two functions that can blend together on cars with the single red lens.

I've always thought it should be a required saftey feature, definitely before stupid trunk escape latches. If you're dumb enough to close yourself in a trunk, you deserve to stay there. If you put someone like ANYWAYS or 90ProbeGT, you don't want them getting out.

OK here it is. It's kind of quick and dirty but you get the idea. Take into account that I think these lights look better with body color painted on the BIG reflector.

Have fun.

Is your center piece red or silver? The clear lights look better with the silver piece (pic 1). Nice work on it. Looks like it fits really nice.

This will be really cool for silver and black cars. Unfortunately, won't work well with my t-red one.
