Jland, I hear ya!

A couple of years ago after I bought my E1, I ran the right side into a high curb. This accident pulled the side rocker extension (skirt) away from body by the rear fender and scratched the skirt. Needless to say, I was...*angry* at myself. Lucky for me, the assistant service manager at my local Ford dealership (a great guy, I might add) recommended a body shop as opposed to buying a new passenger-side rocker extension (and having it painted, attached to the car, etc.). The body shop was able to repair the damage for $225...and it looked as if there was no damage to that side (in other words, like new).
It would've cost at least double that price had the Ford service manager not given me the referral to that body shop.
