I want to use a Monster Flow filter on my Mystique. What MAF adapter allows me to attach this filter to my engine?

If anyone has one of these on their car, how do you like it? Heat soak anyone?

I would not use the Monster Flow.

I dyno'ed it at 3 HP LESS than a factory filter.

A foam air needs something like twice the surface area to flow the SAME amount of air as a paper or cotton filter. 3 HP is in the range of Dyno error, but still it's not a gain by any account.

But if your heart is set on one, I will sell you mine for $75 bucks.

Right know I just use it as a spare when I'm cleaning my KKM. That way I don't have to be without my car while the KKM is drying after I clean it.

I second 2deep2's comments.

Garbage!

Get a large K&N and a MAF adapter.

MAF adapter from BAT $35
K&N from Summit Racing $35-?? (Depending on size and configuration)

Note that you need one with a 3.5" opening on it, so the ones gettinf flogged off in the "Go Fast" mags won't work as they are only 3" most of the time.

Look for a tapered one with a 5.5" base diameter (min), at least 6" in length and the top diameter of around 4.5"
www.knfilters.com has an online catalog for universal pod filters where y ou can find part numbers for the various configurations. From there you can go to Summit's site and find out if they have the one you want, and for how much.
