I got the steps to check for alternator problems off old posts but I wanted to know where I can get a performance alternator just in case that's the problem with my battery being dead every day. If it's not, knowing where to get one would definitely be good information to have. Thanks alot. I'm having that problem where my battery is dead and the needle goes to 120 when I'm trying to crank it. I'll do the system check tonight though. Thanks alot for your help

Probably just a bad battery. Checker or Autozone, etc, will test it with a load. They should do it for free and that'll tell you if the battery is bad. The alternator for Ford's puts out a bit over 14.5v. The Contique alternators are perfect and more than adequate for good sound systems and add-ons....it's a 130 amp alternator.
