I was recently quoted a price of $620 for a NOS system to be installed in my 95 GL V6. Is this bad for my car if I'm just using it occasionaly when I go race at the track? Am I getting ripped off? Would anyone recommend this or not recommend it? I value all of your opinions greatly, so please let me know what you think. Thanks smile

In My Humble Opinion-

NOS is a stop gap at best- a motor melter at worst.
I woudnt touch it with a 15FT pole- But having said that Jose here in UT has NOS on his V6 MTX and it is faster than any Stock SVT. But again I woudnt do it EVER!
(PS look where I work!)

just my $.02

since you got a 95 GL i would be careful... if your milage is up there i doubt your motor can take more then a 50shot at best.

if you got the money, have the motor rebuilt and then strap on the juice.

i am offically a troll... so take my information and advice with a grain of salt.

Thanks, you guys just saved me 600 dollars and probably a new engine. However, I bet I would have had fun ruining my engine, and then it would have given me an excure to buy a new one. So thanks for nothing jerks!!! wink JK!
