The flat ones look like crap. The rounded ones look better.
My E1 has the rounded ones (and thats why they are still on), but maybe that is because it is the earliest of the E1s (98.5).

 They all look like crap,they should all be removed.It doesn't matter if one looks less crappy.

agreed. Mine are the better looking ones though (the 98 or 98.5 version). I like them right where they are

Totally agree... I guess there are a few of us anti-knauberizers!
