So I was driving today and my temp gauge maxed out. It took me 2 hours and 4 liters of water for a normal 25 minute drive home. Got it home ran some tests and the tale tell sign is no heat from the vents!It took 10 years for mine to die...... Now I pray the plastic impellers didn't explode (if I have them). I will fix it in the morning so I'll let you know.

I replaced mine a couple of months ago just in case.. and interesting enough it looked like it had the good white impeller.. but I changed it anyways to be sure  good luck with the swap.. mine turned out to be a killer.. Cheers Martin

Ummm...zetecs don't have a common water pump issue.

Your car is just trying to tell you it wants to stay in Ontario. You should listen to it.  Sorry to hear it went though what a PITA huh. Good luck on the swap.

I haven't left yet and I could do the show n shine, but sadly the moving truck comes on Monday the 11th so I should pack instead.

Well kids here it is in all it's glory! That was a PITA because of the tight area, but atleast it was at the front of the car. Glad it didn't shatter to much and we found all the pieces.

I am happy I switched to the metal impeller when the supercharger went in a few years ago. (same for my old SE too)
