That angle bracket bolt to the engine block was key. Once it was loosened, the short bolt hole lined up to the back of the alternator, and the alternator was literally able to move around as I desired. Like butta'. It was bottomed out before and everything was bound up. No wonder you guys thought I was crazy unable to put it back. After that probably took only 40 minutes to put the whole car back together. Finally done, whew!

I just went thru it last week and it was fresh in my mind. I had that bracket messed up at first too but it is a breeze once you get it all figured out
