I saw this interesting Fusion with a ground effects package on the street in Dallas today. Shades of CSVT.

I feel Ford needs to make some cooler, better looking cars. Sure, the Fusion is okay, but its nothing that people will say, "Wow! Look at that car!!! A Ford Fusion!!" Its not, and it never will be. I guess what I am trying to say is that Ford is not appealing to the younger crowds. The 16-25 year old car buying market is pretty big and unless you are between those ages and have a baby you prolly don't have any interest in getting that car. We are comparing this car to the Kia Sephia and Hyundai Sonata..not impressing anyone in the younger crowd.

I can't see any resons why Ford couldn't take my car and label it an SVT Fusion. With some ground effects like the above, I'd a bought it in a heartbeat.

I'm shocked! It is possible to make a Fusion look worse.

Have him look at where the parts on Chevy's comes from. Last I checked the engine in the Equinox comes from China. Needs more common sense.

Why? Because one engine in one car comes from China?

That's pretty much what I was thinking. Ugh.

That demographic doesn't have all that much money to burn. That is where the Focus comes in. Available in 2 door, hatch, sedan, & wagon. Ample mods available, low sticker, good handling. Made for the younger set.

The Fusion is rather tasteful & understated. Old guys like me like that. Drop in a 3.5 & I'd take a look at one.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Body kit & 3.5L. Hmmmmm...

I don't see a single thing tasteful or understated in the Fusion's exterior. It's ghetto bling gaudy in an overly blocky tank of a shape.

I agree. And change the wheels and it'd be looking pretty good. That body kit isn't perfect, but it ain't bad.
