I average better than 30 mpg.
Not bad for an SVT.

Usually around 20-21 in town, AC on and recently 30.5 on interstate trip 70-75 mph, AC on. New upstream O2s helped a lot and seafoam every 3rd fill-up.

BAH! 16 city, 24 highway on a good day, bad day its been much worse. I shift at 2000-2500 rpm in t he city, 70 mph on the interstate. However, this car is running really bad and is uncurable (no CEL! and too much money made me give up on it after I tried everything to make it better) However, it will, at random times, run really good and get well above 30mpg on the highway. but it only does that about once a month or so.

Bingo! This helped me tremendously when I did it last year. Secondly, people have terrible driving habits, i.e. accelerating when there's a red light in view, in front of them. I see this very often, and still don't get it. I guess it goes down to the debate of engine braking. I've been doing it for so long w/o any adverse effects. Many claim they would rather wear their brake components than put to stress on the engine. However, I think idling at a red light for a lengthy time is worse when considering gas consumption and wear on running parts. Thus, I try to time it so that I can reach the signal w/some velocity when the signal turns green.
