im in the midst of designing a new motor setup in my 98 mystique. it already has the v6-duratec. my question is... who hear knows what "supercar" uses our identical motor, and what have they equipped it with to make it push approx 310hp and 320tq? 0-60 in under 4secs, and 0-100 in under 10secs. Anyone know what i'm talking about? i found it pretty impressive for a base stock duratec with some added rather inexpensive additions. laugh

Noble M12 GTO, fitted w/ twin turbochargers.

Not really a "supercar" but cool none the less.

For anyone who's interested in the Noble M12 GTO there's a 18meg video of a track test at the below link :

Enjoy. The other vids are pretty good too- worth the download time even for dial up users like me... frown

fwiw, twin turbo setups have been investigated for the contour. The problem is, there is just no room for the turbo for the rear bank. That, and the fact that a properly designed single turbo setup can provide identical or better performance (I think Mr. Hightower will show me correct here) really limits the desirability of the twin on a contour. The only benefit of a twin on a contour comes from the extra "bling" or "pimp factor" and this is more than outweighed by the extreme difficulty of just getting it all to fit.
