Have to replace the original Firestones--20560R15. Got 48,000 miles out of them.

Looking to buy something inexpensive as I may sell the car. Guess 195's would be cheaper.

I'm in Richmond, VA.

There is a tire forum here, so you might get more play there.

If you are looking for a budget tire, but want to retain decent handling, I'd look at these, Dunlop SP Sport A2

$56/tire in your size at TireRack

I have the SP Sport A2's on my car (2000 SE sport) and they are great (a lot better than the OEM firerocks) I got about the same out of the OEM tires and now have about 20K on the SP sport A2's and they still seem to be holding up ok.

My preference lied with the BFG Euro T/A tire. (also on TireRack.com) I was running 225/15/50. Great sidewall for cleaning, and they gripped terrific. (I'm still trying to determine how much better my Potenza S03's are. The jury's still out!)

I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby.
There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there.
You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one.
How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have?
You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!

I would also recomend the Dunlop SP Sport A2. Great grip in the dry and the wet. But because I have snow tires I don't know how they handle in the white stuff.

Best bang for the buck.
