Sounds about right... but I'm not picky as far as chatter and what-not goes. I want a clutch that's not going to "let go" as I add more bolt-ons. I do like quick engagement/disengagement at a minimum of pedal travel, but that's the only place I'd have a preference.
It's false economy to change one part of the assy and chances are if the clutch is slipping both the flywheel & cover plate are burnt. To do it right a full assy with release bearing is needed and the flywheel resurfaced if its burt. Not worth the cost of pulling the engine & trans to change part of the assy and pull it again a few months down the road...
