So I've decided its time for a new (rebuilt) tranny - ATX. I got a loan today, so once I get the cash I'll be losing my car for a while.

Im getting a normal rebuid - beefed up a little (not sure how but they told me they had a kit)
- shift kit (probly trans go)
- rebuilt torque convertor with a higher stall convertor(3000 rpm or higher)
- red line oil (once I find some)

anything else I should consider or have done to have less drivetrain loss? better shifts?

and yes if I could have a manual I would - but I can't (too much in this car, I'm not starting over) and Level Ten is a little over my head.

Thanks
