Yeah the headers just use the smaller oil filter which is the same part # as an acura NSX. I still ca barely get the filter out. It comes out all dented and banged up. Even the new filter gets a dent in it when I try to put it in. I am going to take my headers off myself and send them to Jet Hot for recoating (VT car headers were installed when I bought it). It's going to be a tough job but I love working on cars and my old cherokee wasnt so easy to isntall the pacesetter headers either. I dont think $1150 is a justifiable price for SHM headers though. I would go with MSDS if I were spending the money considering the complications.

You can still use the regular oil filter on the car with SHMs... Just use a pry bar to push the engine back a bit and you can fit an F1 filter in there... Installation and removal really isn't all that bad on them.
