The primary boost from nitrous comes from the extra oxygen, but a secondary effect comes from the decreased intake temperature. Actually it decreases the temperature of the cylinder by leaning out the intake air fuel mixture. NOx emissions are product of extremely high temperature combustion. Sounds like the seller doesn't have a clue what he is selling or talking. i took internal combustion engine class in my mechanical engineering major. spincity
