Has anyone bought a honing tool and honed out their Upper Intake Manifold (on regular a Contour)???

How would you do further than a few inches into each port?

Port matching - yes. Enlarging the UIM - no.

Like demon said, I've done the first few inches where the upper meets the lower to match the bore size but thats about it. Further honing for something like our UIM can be done by extrude honing, which forces an abrasive clay through the ports to smooth out any irregularities. (Or something like that...) An SVT UIM is probably a cheaper alternative.
