The metal pipe, conducting heat from under the hood is to be expected whenever when one is installed.

Now that the pipe is built I'm going to think up a material I can use to insulate it to help reduce heat soak.

After going for a drive today, low end torque seems to be increased. It feels like it has more power. The induction sound is alot louder and has a completely different tone than with the stock tube.
