I've got the Throttle Body installed, but it idles at 1200 rpm. Not too bad. Just wondering if this is a common problem. I had to disconnect the Cruise control since there was not enough slack in the cable and it was holding the throttle slightly open. But even after doing that, the car still idles too high.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Might want to pull the intake tube and do a visual check that the TB buttterfly is closing all the way. Might also want to check the TPS and see if it's reading correctly for a fully closed position. Seems like there is something causing the idle to be that high. Just some ideas...

No idle or cruise cable problems here with my 70mm BBK. Which TB did you get ahold of? I can't see the TPS being off unless you broke it or something since I actually had to advance mine slightly to get proper tip in after rotating the linkage assembly 180 degrees to fit properly. Any pics of your installation? Did you hold you throttle plate up to a light to ensure a good closed surface all the way around the throttle plate? confused

I will work on getting some pictures.

I think the problem with the cruise cable, is I had to bend the cable bracket, since the accelerator cable wasn't lined up and kept jumping out of the groove on the throttle body.

I am using a MAC 70 mm TB.

From what I can tell the blade is sealing fine. You can see a tiny sliver of daylight around the TB plate, but it is no worse that the stocker.

Thanks for the replies.
