Well my battery has been drained the last two nights in a row. I think that I have found the problem...
Well, it seems as though all the door switches stay lit up constantly. Even when the car is turned off and the lights are off and the car is locked. I know that these switches draw small amounts of power, but I drained the battery the first time with my subs running with the car off. I have not charged the battery since then, but only jumped it and let it run for a few minutes. Since the car sits (because of other problems) it seems as though these switches are draining the little bit that is left in the battery. Does this make any sense?

um... how old is the battery? It sounds a lot like the battery was on its last leg, you killed it by running your stereo WITHOUT the engine running, and it wont hold a charge anymore... When my battery went I could jump start the car and run it fine and restart it again if I tried within the hour. but any longer the battery would be right back to dead again...

Yeah that makes perfect sense. But what about the door switches?

Have you replaced the leds in them or had them out of the car.
When I changed leds colors in mine I took the two front doors apart and I must have switched the drivers from passengers, because they stayed lit when the key was not in the car. I switched them around and all was better.

No, I haven't. My window switches on the driver's side don't even work.

Does anyone (like Tony2005) think that the door switch lights being on and the "deiseling" could be directly related to a bad ignition swtich?

No, I do not have a Ford CD. I do not even know where to start with the wiring diagram.
Do you think it is worth it to go ahead and change the ignition switch?

What are you going to do if you change the ignition switch and it does not fix the problem? If everything points towards that, then yes, but at this point you are just shooting in the dark.
Actually, if it were me, I would just disconnect the wiring to the light on the door switches and see if the problem is gone (Try Fuse 34 for courtesy lights). Better to not be able to see the door lock lights than have a dead battery.
Also check the Central Timer on the Passenger Compartment Fuse box under dash, left of steering column.
