Valvoline puts a promotion out every now and then for their Maxlife oil, and I'm sure some of you guys can use this. I did this promotion when they ran it a few months ago, and received the rebate check w/o any issues. Furthermore, if you have a Walmart around you, I found that this was the cheapest place to buy oil, since most of us will be needing the extra qt. Here's the link: http://www.valvoline.com/maxlife/microsite.aspHope this can helps a few people out.

i wouldn't use the max life stuff all the time, I started using it in my zetec because of high miles and the always present slight leak at the trans, anyway after about 5 oil changes with the max life oil I got a worse leak, think it is the rear main seal, it has slowed back down now that I have gone back to regular oil, so used be ware ...

Hmm, I use this oil... And have been using it for quite some time. Are you claiming that by using it, I will develop leaks?

maybe maybe not, just saying what happened to me, but then again I already had an issue, it got better and then worse ...
you deside, if you are not having any issues then you should be fine

I don't see much of a reason for it unless you have some leaking issues. I never used it, even at 180,000 miles.
Why can't they make these offers on something I use, like VR Racing?
