OP gliderjoe CEG\'er G Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 229 San Francisco	I had the problem with the sticking trunk release motor. I cleaned it, and it worked great for a while. Now when I press the trunk release button on the key FOB once, the motor clicks multiple times in a row (4-5) rather than just once. It doesn't do it all the time but when it does its really annoying. Do I need to clean it again? I checked the solenoid and its fine. 1998 Black CSVT, 75k mi

If you used oil-based liquid(or spray), some excess may be causing the connection to close. Yes, cleaning again would help, this time wiping off excess "cleaner". "Always do the cheap and easy ones first." 1996 V6 ATX 96K miles
