And on top of the temperature, there's like no wind...and the air is hot and stagnite. I think I need to buy a recharge kit for my cars a/c because it's not very cold when I use it. What's everyone doing to "beat the heat?"

24 hour what?
I'm looking to buy a like-new condition SVT grill, and a shift knob that works with the reverse lever PM me with the details.

There is a bit of a breeze right now, still very hot though. Staying in the AC for now. Later, I'll probably go jump in the pool. Of course the water temp. is 90 degrees right now so I don't think that will be very cooling.

if it really gets up to 100 as they say it might around me i think the pool would still be refreshing ...

That sounds good right about now. I just don't want to deal with vacuuming ours to go in it.
