Have this noise coming from the rear of my car..In the last 1.5 year or so I have changed the Springs(SVT) changed the struts(Mcpherson fron napa.. and I just recently changed the sway bar links and bushings.. the sound happens more with little gas and subsides a bit with a full tank, it sounds like metal on metal. It can happen on big bumps or even the little ones.. Driving me crazy cuz I cannot pin point it.. Any suggestions,, Could it be a broken spring?

I replaced the D shaped frame isolators and the bushings and links. My Mystique would still make a loud tap on some bumps (right rear). There is a raised ridge around the swaybar, it hit the corner of the frame because the swaybar had wear. Take a close look at the swaybar, you will see wear, where it hits. You might be able to shim under the D shaped isolator.

The bushings on the sway bar itself that connect right behind the gas tank?? Was wondering if maybe those had worn and it was the bar moving back and forth..

That has been known to cause squeaks.
