Can someone recomend to me some good products and methods on cleaning and waxing a black car, I'm having a rather tough time keeping my new SVTC clean. I guess cause it's black and black shows *everything*, any good waxes / protectants I should try? Also what do you guys use to wash your car with....

in b4 da Zaino! There's little you can do for the day to day dirt. You're going to hear a lot about Zaino, and for good reason, on black there is nothing like Zaino (it's a polish system that you use and has multiple steps, others will fill in the details). The California Car duster is what I've used for years to deal with pollen and dust... works like a charm!

LOL @ BW!
What issues are you having with your black car? swirl marks? Dust?
Waxes usually have oils that attract dust which is one reason why many people like sealants such as Zaino. The prep work is large, but the everyday/week effort is minimal.
BTW, group buy going on until tomrrow. Let me know if you are interested.

Just so you can read up a little about Zaino and the steps to take www.zainobros.com . Once you get the hang of it its as simple as pie. You will love the outcome. Just take your time and do it right! Use Z6 between washes and I would suggest a car cover if your car sits outside. I drive my car everyday so I dont use the cover.

Eric, you wanna split the difference? Its been about 5 months since my last/first Zaino, but my broke azz can't afford the initial $40 to get addicted to the stuff. Maybe plunking just a Jackson will do it...

That California Duster is the way to go! It is amazing. As far as waxing the car, I use these pads made by Vesco, they have a velcro back that ataches to a random orbit sander, they really work good. A buddy of mine use to work for a dealership, he got them there for me.
