3-4FWHP provided you use straight through design mufflers.

Your link showed nothing. (since I don't have access to the cookies on your computer :p )

Why don't you put a 12255 in place of the factory resonator, and remove the rear mufflers. You can put some nice tips on and still have a little extra cash.
I'm running a single 12158 into 2 pipes all the way out from the factory res location. Sounds so good... :p

Demon, With me resonator removed "about 3 Hp" + strait through muffs. 4 Hp thats about 7 hp, so that is about equal to a cat back set up right???? confused

The reason I ask is I am planning on getting exhaust soon and I can get 6"Round by 14" long polished muffs with 4" angle cut tips on them for $104.00 each and I was wondering what benifits I would see by doing a true dual set up "Crush bent" It just seems complicated to do a dual set up right mad

Another option I was looking at was running 2.5" "Crush bent" from the cat back to the new muffs.

Let me know what you guys think

By the way i searched but didn't find what I was looking for. laugh

i think you'll get everyone telling u to skip the crushbend at all costs. it'll limit the performance gain. look around for mandrelbend. may be more expensive but worth it. otherwise, just replace your muffs (you decide on 2 muffs or one ctr muff)

...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

Well I finally ordered my mufflers wink one word "Magnaflow"14842x2.Those who say there selling magnaflow at whole sale on this site are full of $h1t. Husker's high peformance has prices that cant be beat. wink

I did decide to have a custom cat back done, the shop that is doing it stock's differnt angles of mandular bend tubing "2.5" so they are able to piece togather a mandular bend system. I think I have assembled the cheepest polished dual muffler cat back ever, $270.00 instailed "friend of the family" and its gonna look and sound sweeeeeeeeet, not to mention an extra 7-8 ponies laugh only one bad thing is I have to wait intill this wensday, "darn slow moving mail".

Yes the do have a website and I only paid $100.00 a muffler compared to the 149.99 retail eek that is 1/3 less, and I have had other qoutes of 139.00,125.00. so I saved about a hundred buck on the 2 wink not to mention the shipping price for the 2 is like only 14.00 "total" and you get them in 5 days

Cut and paste the below site for a great deal

Wow, the 14842's are the exact ones I want, and they are only 104.93 each. How did you only pay 100.00? I was going to buy these last year off anastazi but money was tight and I couldn't go through with it. I can't believe the price, that's awesome; I'll be ordering these next week!!!!! I'm on the same boat as you though, I need mandrel bends. I'll call some shops around here and see what kind of prices they throw at me. I might pick up the resonator too cause I have the off road y-pipe and no res, and I'm tired of the rasp. Let me know how they sound and your take on the performance when you get them in. Thanks, Vinny

Well vinn, the reason I was able to get them so cheap is because I took a print out of Husker's prices to a local Magnaflow dealer and did a little bargining wink

I will keep you posted on the performance and sound laugh
