What MAF voltages have you folks observed at idle with stock and not-so-stock MAF sensors?

I've heard anywhere from .86V to .89V. Make sure to check it in the garage with the door mostly down to make sure no wind gets to the MAF. A sneeze can make the voltage jump by quite a few points by itself let alone a slight breeze!!!

Aha... very interesting. My gutted stock MAF with screen hovers around .65. It does seem to idle much more smoothly when I crank it up to around .85 with the optimizer. I thought that was too high, but I guess not!

My idle voltage is .64 on stock MAF and runs smooth.

I just did some testing myself...
Stock MAF and stock SVT airbox: average of .7 at 720rpm, never dropping below .65. Gutted MAF and open K&N: average of .63, never dropping below .56.
I used the optimizer to set the idle for a steady .70-.71 with the gutted MAF and K&N. The interesting thing is that the MAF optimizer seems to smooth the MAF's output. Instead of varying from .65 to .74, it never goes below .70 or above .71. Hmmmmm....
