I need some helpful advice. I drive a 2000 SVT and until several days ago a 95 Mystique LS with just about every option. The Mystique had 45,000 miles on it. It has sentimental value because it was my Dad's car prior to his death last year. To make a long story short he was a big fan of Mystique/Contours. I let my son drive it to school while the old Honda he drives was getting new tires installed. He's O.K. but the Mystique is now totaled. My questions are: 1) If I buy an old Contique with the ZETEC would there be any problem putting the Duratec from the wrecked Mystique in; 2) If I buy one with a manual transmission - is the transmission the same with the ZETEC and Duratec; 3) If I transfer in the leather power seat and the rest of the interior is there a power hook - up somewhere already installed if the car didn't come with the power seat option? Thanks for your help. I don't know if I'm going to do it but I'd like for part of the old Mystique to live on.

From what I have heard it's cost prohibitive to swap a 4 for a V6.

Maybe find an older Mystique V6 and swap the leather seats and a few other things.

2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

The subframe and wiring will swap just fine from the Mystique to another Contique. All of the Contique Models have hook ups for the Power Seats. The Manual out of the V6 doesn't have the same housing as the I4 so they wouldn't bolt up. I'm sorry to hear about your car.
