I've been caling a lot of places that want at least $140-$150 for tinting my car. I mean some of them claim a warrenty with their tint, but I'd rather have something cheaper done. I mean I've looked into that DIY stuff, but a lot of people I've seen with that have bubbles D:. Is there a place or price I should try and find for it to be a good deal?

F! doing it yourself. Unless you have the patience and a bit of skill to do it...I would be a lil scared...... I attempted and it was a disaster and a half. Wow, unbelievable disaster. Drove around for a while with 2 tinted windows, super sloopy. $140 Canadian with warranty is a deal and half I say, half of what I know some people pay. Heck, I paid $150 with lifetime warranty, one window got f'd up because of the damn contour windows that are retarded in and of themselves, so I had that window redone no hassle. Ya well, too much b/s doing it yourself, unless your willing and like I said, by all means attempt it. But then again, at Canadian tire the stuff isnt that cheap either and you sure as hell arnt returning that stuff there if you screw up, ohhhhhh which I did indeeed.

i paid 170$CAN and i was good price. be carefull of the cheap place they use cheaper film that will turn purple after a year... if you do it yourself you better succeed on the first try if not its not worth it...

Unless you've done it a few times before, don't attempt it yourself. Your price you were quoted is a GOOD DEAL, and has a warranty? I mean, you'd be dumb not to do it. But if you want to try it yourself, I guarentee there will be flaws all over and its not like putting on a sticker and wiping out the bubbles or gently rolling it on...it takes a great deal of pre-planning, patience and skill.

alrighty, well gonna go get it done than, $140 with warrenty, 13% black in the back 20 upfront, and maximum legal everywhere else I missed.

im 35% in the back and rear door and 50% in the front.. but the maximum is supposed to be 70% in quebec.. but they dont seem to bother when you drive a contour


.. oh be sure that its not the kind of cheap film who turn purple after a while...

I paid $140 for 20% w/ a lifetime warrenty. For a good tint job expect to pay between $120-$190. I wouldn't go cheap if I was you. You'd hate yourself later on when your tint starts to turn purple and bubble up.

I paided 180.00 that was to remove all the old tint and replace it..Front and rear doors and rear window and front visor..I used 15% tint all around..Looks nice..And has a lifetime warranty threw lumar tinting..Wont turn purple..
