I have been having troubles with the connection at the fuel pump. Then all of a sudden, the car will crank but not start. I can not hear the pump run at all and when I pull the fuel line going into the filter, I will get a trickle of fuel but nothing else. Seems like no pressure at all in the fuel line. I checked the voltage going into the pump and I get about 8 volts with key in "ON" and then up to 10.5 - 12.0 with key in "Start". So I replaced the fuel pump and $250 dollars later I have the same results.
Is there something that I am missing that I should be checking as well?
If you NEVER hear the fuel pump prime, upon KOEO, then have you checked your fuel pump fuses, (fuse panel) the fuel pump emergency cut-off switch (driver's foot well, on the left), etc?

Not necessarily since you may not be getting the CORRECT power.
First, though, it is necessary to determine if you have a return or returnless system in order to see if the power to the pump is correct or not.
