Nice vids. So where are Ford's "Bold Moves"? Building boring cars other than the Cobra. Marketing campaign should be "Keeping Afloat."

I agree 100% with you Todd and to be honest with you, the Cobra isn't that much faster than the "Terminator" either and its fat, almost 4000 lbs....are you kidding me Its not even faster than the base Corvette and their pretty damn close in price. I'm sorry, but those who spent $20K over sticker to get them are nutz The Mustang is nice, no doubt about it, but they need to take some chances, its "make or break" time, right now IMO! I know I don't know the inner workings of a company that has an "inhouse tuner", but getting rid of SVT was a bad move as they had "street cred" for the most part, just need to kick it up a notch. Ford was the only company that took chances with cars like the SHO, CSVT, FSVT, SVO Mustangs and Merkurs, now those are "BOLD MOVES"

To me it seems like a video pleading Ford to let the "skunkworks" division live on.

If I wanted basic transportation I'd look to GM. If I want Bold Moves I'll look to the East or Germany. And look at the soft suspension when the journalist hits the brakes? Seems like too much tip to me.

No Chit, if they had a front plate on that car it probably would have hit the ground

+1 that was terrible.
In terms of pure performance, this car comes nowhere near the level of a Terminator or a Corvette C6, on power alone its easier to add 8 grand into a Corvette or Cobra and make it a 10 second car, but putting 8 grand into a GT500 and bringing the weight down will be one hell of a challenge, even after that it would probably only run 11's.
Its easier to add power than to take away weight, one MAJOR thing Ford missed with the GT500.

Whether you like their styling or not, you've gotta give it up to Chrysler too, they atleast take chances and they've paid off for the most part lately. Lets see, big and RWD...hmm, that worked before so why not bring it back and they did and its a sucess, duh I mean seriously, would you take a FWD Impala SS for $34K loaded or a Charger R/T w/ a Hemi and RWD, hmm Or would you buy a $38K Lucerne w/ a Northstar V8 and FWD or get yourself a loaded 300C w/ Hemi and RWD or even AWD for the same amount, come on now Hell, you can even step up to the SRT-8's for another $4-5K and look at what you get there, yeah, yeah I know the mpg isn't great, but then again theres some people out there who don't care about that (must be nice )
I agree about GM, especially Chevrolet, does it get any more "missionary position" than the Impala
