Whats goin on? I have a 98 SVT contour and Im looking for an exhaust. I really like the Brullen exhaust performance fords has on their site, but I dont have the $600 for the cat back. Can I just get the mufflers and get the same sound out of them, or what do I have to do? Or am I going to have to stop eating at Wendy's for a while and save some cash. Please any opinions needed.

brullen mufflers are very expensive...if you just want mufflers, get some magnaflow 14" long mufflers to replace the two rear mufflers. very nice sound, but probably not the same as a whole catback. I love mine, but my exhaust is completely custom.
btw, stop eating at wendy's anyway. pack a lunch. you'll: save money, eat healthier foods, and you wont be supporting and industry that is synonomous w/ the devil
I have a degree in dietetics/nutrition, can you tell?
BTW, read "Fast Food Nation," that'll get you to stop eating fast food.
