okay i still have my contour it has 197,000 miles on it and its a automatic.So i was thinking of keeping it and rebuilding the engine then doing major performance to it such as turbo ect then lowering it,sum diffrent rims,new paintjob and so on. i already redid the rims silver i got all the ricey [censored] off the car redid it all oringinal so should i keep the car or sell it and buy sumthin else??

de-rice the tour and sell it for a svt.....
edit-last i saw it still had white and black painted trim etc...when did you derice it?

i dont have the money right now to get a svt.....idk i was thinkin keepin this but to have a rebuild it will cost at least 1,000 or more...so im not sure yet but if i was to keep this what would be the best route to go beside's a engine swap? and john u havent saw the tour in a while alot of stuff changed on it...i think it looks 10 times better than before....we were drivin to fl this weekend and a guy came up to us and said nice contour..so it must look better..... oh and the crx is wrecked were sellin it for parts now as a whole were going to get like 1000 or so off it then maybe with that we can do sum stuff to the tour. well ill try to get up pics

I'd say your original idea is the best, for the past couple of months, I was wanting to sell my car and get an EVO or Impreza, but after a while, I realized that I see WAY more of those than I do the Contour, I have a bit of rarity to my car because there are less of these modified around here. I'm modding mine and buying a SVT just to have fun on the side. (the GL is a project car.... SVT will be collectors car/toy.
