I know you weren't meaning to make it a discussion, but I wante to clarify that it wasn't really use that gave it away. Not we, Britain. IT WAS their land by right of conquest from the imperial days. They broke the region up into kingdoms and gave it back.
Also, that is the site of Israeli settlement 4-5K years ago. Jerusalem is more Jewish than any other race/culture/religion. There are still Jews there and their religion has been nested there long before Christianity and even longer than Islam in the area.
THANK YOU TOM! My cousin lives in Israel and well this entire situation scares me. To be honest, at this very moment, I am happy that Bush is in office.

Apparently Iranian-Americans with dual citizenship are now at risk of being held in Iran if they return there for any reason. A friend's co-worker went back to Iran last year for a family function. No problem returning. He just went back again a few weeks ago, and the Iranian government is now telling him that he has to fulfill his military conscription "obligation" before he can return to the States. My friend's company has been talking to the Iranian ex-pat community, and apparently this is now common.
This and the rest of Iran's recent actions are making it pretty clear that they are trying their hardest to get the whole Islam vs. everyone else final showdown rolling IMO.

Yes, I am very familiar with the enrichment technology the Iranians are using. Heat signatures? Do not assume that the Iranians will act stupidly â??? and then take comfort in it!
Besides, we already know (in general) where weapons grade production is likely taking place. They built an elaborate facility at Natanz and have been bragging about a â??pilotâ? enrichment capability located there in one of the aboveground buildings.
This site contains a huge buried industrial facility covering at least 25 acres. What do I mean by buried? How about approximately 20 ft thick reinforced concrete covered by another 75 ft of earth topped off with another layer of reinforced concrete and various â??administrativeâ? buildings. They had to build a concrete mixing plant onsite to support it. Most of this was built at an astonishing pace in a few short years starting in 2000 - and all unknown to the world in general until the Iranian resistance made it public in 2002. Satellite Imagery of Natanz Uranium Enrichment Facility
They need this monster to support a civilian nuclear power capability?
How the hell do you attack such a thing?
According to our state department (and the UN). â??Iran appears to be constructing a uranium enrichment plant at Natanz, as well as a heavy water plantâ?¦The suspect uranium-enrichment plant ... could be used to produce highly-enriched uranium for weapons. The heavy-water plant could support a reactor for producing weapons-grade plutonium. These facilities are not justified by the needs of Iran's civilian nuclear program."
No sh!t itâ??s not justified by civilian power industry needs!!!!
Using the technology acquired from Pakistan, this underground facility could contain as many as 50,000 centrifuges, producing enough weapons-grade uranium for several dozen [over 20] weapons per year when completed at the end of the decade. Some intelligence indicates that since 2005 the facility has housed at least 5,000 operational centrifuges capable of producing enough enriched uranium for several nuclear weapons each year.
Samples taken by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) when they still had access to portions of the site in 2003 revealed the presence of particles of two different types of highly enriched uranium.
The Iranians often allude to the small 10-cascade centrifuge demonstration plant located above ground as an explanation for this.
Once you have weapons grade uranium or plutonium, it still must be â??weaponized.â? So where is that occurring?
I do not assume that the risk of nuclear retaliation has the same restraint on the real rulers (dictators) of Iran as it does on western style governments.

At another internet forum, a person stated that he thought the US Soldiers were just as bad or worst than the terrorists. I disagreed. I told him that the terrorists are well trained to attack innocent civilians.
Later at the chat section of the website I told him again what I thought about terrorists. He brought up Reagan and the Iran Contra Affair. I told him that there is a lot of hatred because of cultural and religious differences and that is the problem. The world would be a better place if people could put their religious opinions and cultural differences aside and see other people as being equal. Some Muslims and the KKK teach that they are better than Jewish people. That's what happened during the holocaust, the Germans wanted to exterminate the Jewish people because they believed they were superior. I wish people would see people as being equal. There is just too much hate in the Middle East. It seems like people would put aside their differences and see people as being equal. I'm a veteran so I don't like terrorists, not because of who they are but because of what they do. Terrorists are always plotting and planning on how to kill more people and attack more targets. They want violence and destruction.

I think the embassy workers and American citizens should have left already unless Lebanon is not allowing them to leave.
"The Israeli air strike forced the closure of the airport and the diversion of all incoming flights." so there's you answer why there are still American Citizens in Lebanon. All modes of transportion are closed due to the bombing (sea/airports and highways/bridges). Actually one of the runways was repaired on Saturday just long enough for one plane to take off with American diplomats. the runway was struck again minutes after the plane took off. Believe me there is no way this could have happened without the Lebanese goverment and the Israeli Forces working together to help the US diplomats get out. 25,000 American and 40,000 Canadian Citizen's are trapped in lebanon right now, 2 of the Canadians are my wife and 10 month old son. 8 Canadians were killed and 6 seriously wounded in Israeli air strikes since the start of conflict. i hope they cease fire soon because most of the causualties are civilians.

That was interesting. It seems like Lebanon has a choice of a war with Israel or a Civil war.
