I read all the forums that pertain to the sunroof. Mine was stuck too, and I unscrewed the screw and it the glass came back down. Now, I can't get the screw back in. what do I do to get the screw back in?

well that screw is one of two that holds the motor top to the bottom. you might have to take it down the whole assembly and take off the cover so you can see what you are doing. There is a small clip that the screw threads through.

hrm.. screw? LOL its a crank system, just unmount the motor ASSEMBLY, and use in the crack (screw) i guess, and rotate it to open and close it manually. If you want, home depot has a crank that fits that and all you would have to do for a permenant fix remove assemble, drill hole through plastic cover, and crank away .

See, all i did to get it to close is unscrew the screw that is directly into the motor and hit the button. It closed and made a funny sound and then it would work again. ALL IM ASKING IS WHY/HOW THE SCREW (NOT A MOUNTING SCREW) goes back into the motor.

Thanks.

So what sort of crank at Home Depot fits? How do I find one?
