when im in a lower gear.. lets say 2nd.. and i WOT as soon as it hits 4k it bucks the car.


and when ur in N just rolling and you WOT it revs to 5k and jumps back to 3500 then back to 5k...

maybe plug wires???

what do u think?

What are the CEL codes? Get it scanned even if the light is not on.

the car is at my work.. its a ford dealership, not that it really Helps because it takes them a week just to take a peek at my car.

but if i do fix it its going for sale..

i would want 4300 for it obo

cf hood.
new paint job.
b&m shifter
b&g lowering springs
gr2 struts
kkm intake
bassani cat back
gutted pre cats
mils
superchip
tinted 7 gauges oil press,volt,air feul.
lotek pod
sunroof gear
New maf
torsion lsd
spec stage 1

Sounds like a possible fuel issue... What year is the car??

its a 1998 svt contour

with 124k


i will floor it now.. it wont redline but when it hits 5k it bounces back to 3k then up to 5 like its redlining. and when you do that the cel comes on then flickers off.



a while back another ceger had the same problem.. had a video of it also.. but i dont remember what fixed it.

oh and today it wouldnt even move.. i would start it and it would die, start it and it would die, and as soon as it would start it would die as soon as you engage the clutch.

Sounds like what mine was doing. It turned out to be the fuel pump.
