Well, for the first time since i built the car in February and March, she's in the hands of another man for repairs. After a track day last weekend i toasted a wheel bearing, wich i would fix myself with Stazi's re-built Knuckles, but i don't have a couple necessary tools.....it just feels weird to have someone elses hands on my baby...

I know what you mean.

I did my own engine swap, but just had my wheel bearing replaced at a shop.

You know, i felt the same way after owning the SVT for a month and having to get the wheel bearing and front sway bar bracket replaced. I was afraid they would beat on it so i wrote the mileage down (like I usually do anyways) and called in to check up on it while they were working on it. Once i sat down in it after it was repaired, all was good again I even had reason to be nervous because after i crashed the SE into the curb last summer, the shop f@cked up the brakes and before that i had all my trust in that shop to do a good job. Well, i don't trust them as much as i used to anymore...but once the brakes were fixed the second time and everything else was in order, it was all good. You'll be fine once you get back in it tonite and everything is back in working order
