I just got through a struggle with the CEL on my 1995
Contour GL. Intermittent code 172. The first thing I tried
was replacing the O2 sensor. No luck - still got code.
Well- to make a long story short. It turned out to be the
water temp sending unit. All seems better now.

So now I have the old O2 sensor which I assume is still
good. Can Anybody out there use it? I have no way of
telling how many miles is on it but the car has 109,000.
The sensor is a FORD unit, part number 94BB-9F472-DA,
made by NTK - Japan. 4-wire hookup with connector.

Here's the deal. First person to send me a private message
on this web site (http://www.contour.org) requesting
gets the sensor. All I would like is $5 to cover shipping
via USPS priority mail. Please include name and address
(USA locations only please). Please be patient. I only check
this site twice a week.

So if you need an O2 sensor, drop me a line. I make NO
guarantee. All I can tell you is that it worked when I took
it out (see story above). I'll send it out and trust the
honesty of the fine members of this group to send me back
$5 cash for shipping fees.

You dont really know he is a scammer, language is kinda funky. Id yell scammer if he was asking for money before hand....

All you have to do is give him your adress he sends the 02 you plug it in an make sure it works, and then send him 5 dollars to cover the costs.

Eh I read some of the other posts by him, little bit more sketchy now...

I don't think he is a scammer. Just a weird feller.
