Ok, I sent an email to K&N about 4 weeks ago asking them which one was the conical and which was the panel filter.
After about 3 weeks, they finally got back to me, but it was a half-assed answer and didn't tell me what I wanted to know, so I'm asking you fellow K&N users...and do you really get more of a performance gain from the conical vs. the panel K&N??

Please let me know!
