I was cleaning my TB today and my brother noticed that my rear mount was a bit off center. He said my shifting felt notchy and how someone with a similar problem had their tranny sitting on the subframe, which a new rear mount fixed. Should I be giving PRT a call or what?

looks kind of warn... Is there any fluid leaking from it on the underside? I THINK they are liquid filled mounts, someone correct me if I am wrong though...

Chris, that is not the rear mount. 4 mounts in the car total. The ones from PRT are the front and rear, which are on the bottom of the car.

That mount doesn't look that bad, but a little worn. The rear one must be fine because the tranny is sitting up nice and high.

whoops "whose the goose? Me!"

Well in comparison to my brothers SVT, that one is kind of off center so I figured I'd ask around and see if anyone thinks it could be a problem. I still hear a metallic clanging/pinging sound once in a while coming from the passenger side when the engine moves in lower gears. I was hoping this could somehow transpose to that area in a way I was unaware of.
