I did the mystery mod about 2 weeks ago and reset the computer at the same time. The check engine light did not come on for a week after that. I reset the computer again and it took another week for it to come on. Did it take that long for the light to come on for anyone else or may there be another problem. Thanks

Do you have the mil eliminators in downstream? Not having them might cause a cel. I didn't have any cel after I did mine, but I have a 95, and don't have the extra 02 sensors downstream.

No MIL eliminators on an OBD2 car will cause the CEL to come on!

The reason it takes a week to set each time is that an OBD-II driving cycle takes so long to complete. It's not a certain amount of miles, it's a certain amount of cold starts, warm starts, hot starts, coasting, throttle positions, etc... Get the MIL elminators or make some.

Either no MIL's or a smashed upper O2 sensor (from the good ole air-hammer) - I have seen two of those now!
