Since I'm selling the Plugs I thought I might as well try it and see what all the hype is about this plug, wheather it really makes a difference and from what I've learned so far it should. Well I gapped them at .54 installed them allowing the ECU to reset the whole time. After installation I took the car for a drive, "OH MY" eek was my first reaction, Throttle Response was instantaneous and pickup was noticably different from the previous Autolite APP764 Plugs. I was so excited I 2-wayed my Wife (Nextel) and was excitedly telling her what a difference the plugs made, OK well she didn't care, but still I had to tell someone. This my friends is an Honest, NOT Exagerated Assesment of these plugs!

The Only real issue is, 'Will They Last?'

I can't wait to hear how the plugs hold up. I posted about them before, as I was interested, but all the response was negative.

Silva, If you are running a SC, you should be gapping at .32 to .35, Not .54.

Just to make anyone ?ing understand, the Denso Plugs aren't making more HP, the motor is. The plug is just optimizing the way the current is introduced to the combustion chamber and thus a huge reduction in unburnt fuel and misfires. Driving in 2nd gear about 30mph, I instantly get on the throttle and the car just yanks pass redline, before you know it I need to shift. I feel not one bit of hesitation whatsoever, the car just pulls now. With the Autolites the car never felt like that even when new.

So did you make it to the track? If so how did it go? I am just curious because I just bought Autolite double plats for my Zetec but haven't installed them yet and if these Denso Iridiums are better I will get them...unless you recommend that I wait?!?

Quality is remembered long after cost is forgotten.

Got tied up yesterday but I'm going tonite. I'll post when I come home. Again the only issue that I'm concerned about is longevity, that's all. If after 5000miles the plugs still look in good condition then I'll reccomend them. I can because I know that within the next 5000miles I'll put on quite a bit of real racing miles, Road Course, Solo 2 and Drag Racing, boy this is one tough SVT wink

Too wide a gap and you fry your coil pack, and you roast the wires. Just FYI.

Chris are you saying the gap is to big?
I've been running the Autolite Plats for over a year at .054 with no problems. Are you suggesting I go smaller, like to know your thoughts!!! wink
